LAND OF THE KURDISH

Each year in Akre, fires illuminate the mountains as Nowruz is celebrated. Land of the Kurdish drifts through this night of movement and gathering, where the physical landscape becomes inseparable from those who inhabit it. A meditative voice runs alongside the images, reflecting on Kurdish identity and the idea of a homeland — giving the film a quiet but persistent tension between place and absence.
